Training & Policy Development
While our legal team is able to represent
you, Donnell Law Group is committed to working with you to develop proactive
measures that can avoid costly litigation through training, policy development
and mediation. As an employer, the Employment Standards Act requires you to have
the appropriate policies in place, which includes an internal complaints
mechanism. Our experienced team at Donnell Law Group can help you develop a
policy, and train you in conducting fair and transparent investigations when
confronted with a complaint, or we can do the investigation for you.
We will work with your business to better understand your obligations and to ensure compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (the AODA), which requires employers and employees in Ontario to take training on the AODA and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
